What data can you encode on RFID labels and tags?

We encode each tag's EPC memory with a unique, serialized identifier so no two tags share the same number. We can follow your numbering scheme or conform to retail and GS1 standards such as SGTIN-96 and GTIN. User Memory encoding and permalocking are also available on request.

What can be printed on the labels themselves?

Typical human-readable printing includes numbers, barcodes (1D and 2D), logos, product names, descriptions, and dates — in black or full color. For RFID smart labels, this printed data is applied to the same label that carries the encoded inlay.

Can you meet retail and GS1 compliance standards?

Yes. We regularly print and encode tags to meet retail compliance and GS1 standards, including SGTIN and GTIN formats, as well as DoD and other industry encoding requirements. Tell us the program you're supplying and we'll match the spec.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

For in-stock labels and tags there is no minimum order quantity, so you can order exactly what you need. Custom media and highly customized tags may have minimums depending on the material and construction — we'll confirm before you commit.

What's the typical lead time for printed and encoded RFID labels?

Lead time varies with volume and options, but most printing and encoding runs ship about 2-3 weeks after proof approval. Custom-form-factor tags typically take 4-6 weeks. Expedited fulfillment is available on request.

Can you match an existing label or design a new one?

Both. Our in-house design team can replicate a label you already use or engineer a new one from scratch, including facestock, adhesive, ribbon, and layout. We provide a proof and sample for approval before full production.
