Overview
Move beyond handheld scanning to fully automated capture and inspection on the line. As an early partner in Zebra's machine vision and fixed industrial scanning initiative, Arrowhead designs and deploys fixed scanners and smart cameras—driven by Zebra Aurora software—for high-speed barcode reading, track-and-trace, and deep-learning quality inspection directly on your conveyors and production lines.

The operational problem
Inspection and label verification depend on an operator watching the line. Defects, missing components, and unreadable codes are found downstream, at the customer, or in a return.

A fixed camera or fixed-mount scanner images every item at line speed and decides pass or fail without a person present.
Optics, lighting, and part presentation decide whether this works. The application study happens on your actual parts before hardware is quoted, because a vision system that was specified from a drawing usually fails on the line.

What Mobi does with what was captured
The vision system performs the inspection. Arrowhead's Integrations capability carries the pass, fail, and read result into the quality system or line control, and Print Studio addresses the print quality problems a verification failure usually points at.

- Mobi does not perform machine vision inspection. Inspection logic belongs to the vision hardware and its configuration; Mobi's role is limited to approved integration and reporting where a deployment includes it.

When something stops working
Arrowhead owns the capture and the integration to the line. Detection thresholds are re-validated with the customer when parts, packaging, or line speed change, because a vision system drifts with the process rather than on its own.
