What this service actually covers
The operational problem
A failed scanner or printer stops the transaction it was there to record. Without coverage in place, the replacement path starts with a purchase order and the workaround becomes paper.
Scope
Per-device annual coverage across supported printers, mobile computers, scanners, and RFID readers, administered by Arrowhead with a single ticket path.
What you receive
- Per-device coverage on the plan you select
- Remote support and priority scheduling on every plan
- Next Business Day onsite response and break/fix labor on Standard and Premium
- Quarterly preventive maintenance and loaner coordination on Premium
- A covered-device register kept against your serial numbers
What Arrowhead is responsible for
- Administer coverage and keep the covered-device register current
- Take the ticket, dispatch, and supply parts and labor as the plan covers
- Escalate to the manufacturer where a device is under a Zebra service program
- Perform covered depot repair in-house in Chandler, Arizona
- Report on device history so repeat failures get addressed rather than repeated
What you provide
- The device inventory and serial numbers to be covered
- Site access, contact details, and hours for onsite response
- Network and environment information the technician needs
- Prompt reporting of the failure and its symptoms
When something stops working
One ticket covers the device whichever layer failed. Arrowhead diagnoses first and escalates to the manufacturer where the device is covered, rather than sending the customer to do it.
Technologies supported
- Zebra printers, mobile computers, scanners, and RFID readers
- Supported devices from other manufacturers on agreement
- Vehicle-mounted equipment and accessories
- Zebra OneCare Essential and Select plans sold and administered by Arrowhead
Where this is delivered
Relevant Mobi software
Coverage is for the physical fleet. Where a deployment includes the Devices capability, device status supports the same ticket rather than replacing it.
Current limits: Device visibility is limited to what a deployment approves; the public fleet demonstration uses simulated data. A maintenance agreement does not include Mobi software licensing.
Service hours
Standard support runs Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm MST. Coverage levels, covered locations, and the response commitment that applies to your fleet are documented in the selected agreement.
What the proof actually shows
Every claim below is labeled with who produced it. Arrowhead delivering a system, a vendor publishing a result from another partner's deployment, a credential a third party issued us, software we run ourselves, a capability we offer, and a direction we have not shipped are different things, and they are labeled differently.
- Accredited capability
Zebra printers, mobile computers, scanners, and RFID readers are repaired in-house in Chandler, Arizona.
Arrowhead is an authorized Zebra Elite Service Center with Zebra-certified repair technicians. Turnaround depends on model, failure, parts, and coverage.
