The complete system, not just the hardware
The operational problem
A pick, a receipt, or a move gets recorded from memory or typed in later. The transaction in the WMS is wrong the moment it is entered, and the error is found at the customer, not at the shelf.
- Physical capture
A worker scans the item, the location, or the document at the moment the work happens.
The decode is checked against the value the workflow expects before the transaction is accepted. A wrong scan is refused at the shelf instead of becoming a return, so the physical act and the record happen at the same time and place.
- How it is captured
- 1D and 2D barcode scan
- Hardware at the capture point
- Corded and cordless scanners — Read damaged, curved, and low-contrast codes at the pick face and the bench (opens the Arrowhead store in a new tab)
- Presentation and fixed-mount scanners — Read hands-free at a counter, a bench, or a conveyor (opens the Arrowhead store in a new tab)
- Wearable and ring scanners — Keep both hands on the carton during picking and packing (opens the Arrowhead store in a new tab)
- Printers for the labels being scanned — Produce codes that verify first time, at the density and material the reader needs
- Mobi software
What Mobi does with what was captured
Mobi Inventory records the scanned event against the item, the location, and the person. Print Studio is where the label layout, symbology, and print quality that make the scan possible are designed.
- Current limits
- Mobi Inventory is available today and covers the item records, counts, and reporting approved for the deployment. Where the customer's own application owns the transaction, Mobi's role is capture and integration.
- System of record
Where the result has to land
Each validated scan posts a transaction or confirms a step against the work order, receipt, or pick list the system of record already holds.
- Systems this connects to
- WMS · ERP · MES · Order management · Customer applications
- What you provide
- The transaction interface, the master data the scan is validated against, and the rule for what happens when a scan does not match.

- Integration to the transaction interface and acceptance testing
- Operator training at the capture point and in-house repair
What you provide
- Access to the workflow and the people who run it
- The transaction interface and master data
- The exception rule for a scan that does not match
- Sample labels, cartons, and documents for read testing
- Scheduled time for operator training on the floor
When something stops working
Arrowhead answers for the scanner, the label, and the print quality together, because an unreadable code is usually all three. Devices are repaired in-house and covered by an onsite maintenance agreement where one is in place.
What the proof actually shows
Every claim below is labeled with who produced it. Arrowhead delivering a system, a vendor publishing a result from another partner's deployment, a credential a third party issued us, software we run ourselves, a capability we offer, and a direction we have not shipped are different things, and they are labeled differently.
- Accredited capability
Zebra printers, mobile computers, scanners, and RFID readers are repaired in-house in Chandler, Arizona.
Arrowhead is an authorized Zebra Elite Service Center with Zebra-certified repair technicians. Turnaround depends on model, failure, parts, and coverage.

Labels and codes are print-tested and read-tested on the materials they will run on.
Arrowhead prints and verifies label stock in Chandler, Arizona. This is a capability offered to every customer, not a published customer result.
