Problem to system to proof

The complete system, not just the hardware

The operational problem

The work happens away from a desk. When the device fails, runs out of battery mid-shift, or drops off the network, the transaction is written on paper and keyed in hours later, if at all.

  1. Physical capture

A worker completes the step where it physically happens: scan, count, sign, photograph, or print.

The device has to survive the drop, stay readable in the environment, hold a full shift of battery, and stay on the network across the whole building. Those are the properties that decide whether the record is created at the point of work or reconstructed later.

  2. Mobi software

What Mobi does with what was captured

Mobi Inventory runs the operational inventory work on the device. Mobi Print sends ZPL and PDF to supported Zebra printers from iOS and Android. Devices covers the connections and visibility included in an approved deployment.

    Current limits
Mobi Print and Mobi Inventory are available today. The public device fleet demonstration uses simulated data; live device visibility is scoped to what a deployment approves.
  3. System of record

Where the result has to land

The device posts the transaction as it is completed, or queues it and posts it when the network returns, so the system of record receives the work in the order it physically happened.

    What Arrowhead supplies and configures

    • Device selection against the drop, display, battery, and scan range the work requires
    • Evaluation units before the fleet is committed
    • Staging, imaging, enrollment, and accessory kitting in Chandler
    • Rollout scheduling and onsite deployment
    • Battery lifecycle and spare pool planning
    • In-house repair and Zebra service program administration

    What you provide

    • Wireless coverage and network access at the point of work
    • Mobile device management enrollment, security policy, and application packages
    • The user list, roles, and rollout schedule
    • A place to receive, store, and charge the fleet on arrival

    When something stops working

A failed device goes to Arrowhead, not to a general courier queue. Repairs are performed in-house in Chandler, and Zebra OneCare coverage sold through Arrowhead is administered by Arrowhead.

Evidence

What the proof actually shows

Every claim below is labeled with who produced it. Arrowhead delivering a system, a vendor publishing a result from another partner's deployment, a credential a third party issued us, software we run ourselves, a capability we offer, and a direction we have not shipped are different things, and they are labeled differently.

  • Accredited capability

Zebra printers, mobile computers, scanners, and RFID readers are repaired in-house in Chandler, Arizona.

Arrowhead is an authorized Zebra Elite Service Center with Zebra-certified repair technicians. Turnaround depends on model, failure, parts, and coverage.

  • General capability

Devices are staged, configured, and kitted before they ship, so a rollout day is an install rather than a build.

Staging and kitting are performed at the Chandler facility for every rollout Arrowhead deploys. This describes the service, not a published customer outcome.

  • Vendor-supported result

Zebra OneCare service plans cover supported Zebra mobile computers and scanners.

Coverage terms are set by Zebra Technologies. Arrowhead sells and administers the plans and performs covered depot repair.
