Senior Technical Solutions Engineer

Work directly with our CTO to research a challenge, build a solution, test it, and put it to work across hardware, software, networking, integrations, and practical AI automation.

Responsibilities and qualifications

What you will do

  • Configure and troubleshoot RFID readers, antennas, scanners, printers, and Android mobile computers.
  • Build scripts, utilities, applications, dashboards, and integrations using APIs, databases, REST, and MQTT.
  • Use Codex, Claude, GitHub, and cloud tools to develop solutions. Understand, review, and test the code you deliver.
  • Diagnose problems across devices, networks, software, and data flows.
  • Build and test prototypes involving hardware, sensors, labels, and automation.
  • Support implementations and document configurations, tests, and handoffs.
  • Own projects through testing, deployment, and follow-up, collaborating with our field installation team.

What you bring

  • Approximately 5–8 years of hands-on technical engineering, systems integration, or comparable practical experience.
  • Practical knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or a similar language.
  • Experience with APIs, databases, Git, networking, and cloud services.
  • Comfortable working with physical devices, cabling, sensors, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Able to learn unfamiliar technology, work independently, and communicate clearly.
  • A record of building working solutions and following through.

RFID, Zebra hardware, industrial automation, and enterprise mobility experience are preferred. Strong fundamentals, curiosity, and resourcefulness matter more than specific vendor experience. A degree is not required.
